HUNTERSVILLE: Carolina BioOncology Institute is expanding their headquarters located in The Park. It’s a cancer research clinic which has grown over the past 3 years from 20 associates to over 40 today. They will invest $250,000 to expand the existing facility by 10,000 square feet. They plan to use the new space for future cleanroom and lab space expansion.
“This project consists of a common anteroom, two separate pharmacies, equipment monitoring and building automation systems. We will also have a dedicated, state of the art HVAC system that will ensure strict air quality around the clock.”
—Steve Bradley, Business and Facilities Manager
The project will begin in early April and is expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter.
